In the movie, the protagonist is given a choice between continuing on in the quest for truth or being blissfully ignorant. I feel in the current political climate, we are often faced with this choice on a daily basis and the artworks presented in pairs are a personal reminder of what we might choose at an individual level. A similar contrast exists in our day to day life too which leads us to making choices between surrendering to technology or being out in nature or having intimate conversations. I translated this larger concept of making choices into my work by using the colours as a driving force juxtaposing them with fluid abstract forms.
